Frequently Asked Questions

We want to help you and everyone you love to fully enjoy the truly authentic Las Palmas® Mexican experience. Here are the answers to a few of our most frequently asked questions.

Great question! A lot of supermarket brands try to imitate Mexican cuisine. But, only those in the know appreciate and demand the difference. Las Palmas sauces use real chiles, tomatillos, and other ingredients and spices that have been part of Mexican cooking for centuries. And our recipes are derived from those passed down for for generations. So your dishes are truly auténticos!

While the words are virtually interchangeable, chile refers to the peppers, while chili is the dish made with ground meat, beans and chile peppers.

We, of course, believe you should enjoy them immediately. After all, why wait? But, if you must, we suggest you use them by the “use-by” date stamped on the package for optimal freshness and quality. Be sure to store them in a cool, dark, dry place. Refrigerate any open unused product in a separate airtight container for 5 to 7 days.
